I was looking for hours for a simple, nice-looking tool, and ByDesign is exactly what I needed. Clean UI, no unnecessary stuff, and it does the job!

I was searching for a Sunsama alternative. I didn't use the service, but I wanted something like it. I've been achieving similar things to the ByDesign app in Obsidian with a number of plugins. But I want to separate my tasks, projects, and time-blocking into a separate app so that I could easily and quickly pull those up.

I really like ByDesign - a lot. I was looking for something that works for me but is also simple and intuitive enough to work for my 12 yr old daughter who needs to start planning out her homework and chores around her other calendar events. I think this is it - and I have looked at a lot of your competitors - Notion, Motion, Tick Tick, To-Do, Todoist. None have the simplicity of user interface combined with the rich features (but not overly complex). love it😍

ByDesign Team I can easily use your app because IT'S simple and easy to navigate. After I tried it, I noticed how simple and easy it is to use and how minimal the app is. I like how it syncs with my calendar and how it lets me set the date and time to complete a task. I also like how I can easily add a task directly to the app without having to go through a bunch of steps and how I can easily add a task to my calendar and see it in my calendar.

I searched for a perfect task manager and finally found ByDesign after trying everything else. It's simple, flexible, and exactly what I was looking for! Keep up the good work guys!!

Believe me, I’ve tried many productivity, habit, and to-do apps—things like 2Do, Omni, Todoist, Pagico, Structured, Productive, MS To-Do, Habit Tracker, Atoms, Google Tasks, Fabulous, Habitify, Do, and others. I’ve been giving ByDesign a try, and it’s looking very promising, and starting to feel like a keeper!

I have been using ByDesign for over a month and absolutely love it. Finally, I have found something that is working for the way I do things! I tend to love my planner in a place that I can see it daily, and I also need to see my tasks in a calendar view. ByDesign helps me do both of those things in a simple, clean way in a daily note format. I can see my tasks for the day, week, and month, and I can easily move tasks around as needed.

Hello! Just found byDesign less than 8 hours ago, and I'm blown away. It has the best of Workflowy (10 yr customer now), Notion, Google Calendar and ICQ (haha)! Oh and a neat Facebook too -- minus the obscure relatives and friends that rant-post too often. Anyhoo, just wanted to say you guys are working on a winner here

Clean UI, without too much unnecessary stuff. The thing that really got me was having a set schedule to hide/show tasks, very helpful as I'm someone who I don't like to see EVERYTHING at once. Probably my favorite app I've used in a while, highly recommend trying it out if you're looking for a simple app to organize your tasks. I'm a user with preferences, I'm sure they can help you too! I just wanna say that I have FINALLY found a to-do list app where I can have recurring tasks and habit/org systems in one place. This is awesome because I keep wondering if one day my autonomous self will break....this is awesome so far! I hope it continues to be developed and things added soon.

Get this app if you need a life organizer. This app has really the better where you can create pages for pages, lists, books, and notes can take cleaner and better and easy to manage and well also it have a great functions and option you can think of just it have the everything on it and can arrange well for management.

I use both Notion for work which is brilliant but it took me over 18 months to get it where it is today. I use ByDesign for my personal stuff and my side hustle and to be honest I wish I had seen ByDesign before selling Notion to work. So easy to use and keeps me focused. I'm so glad the Overdue section exists - in the rush of having overwhelming amount of work, I forgot about a task I scheduled for Tueday and never managed to work on. Just getting used to it, but so far, it’s giving me a good Notion without all the annoyances vibe, especially for tasks and calendar.

Very well built and quite intuitive. However, if I create a all-day habit, it doesn’t sync with calendar. And there should be a way to export the data. Overall 4/5 stars.

You've built a 'hot-desk'.I've just started trying out your app. Great design. I've roadtested a lot of apps. The courseware integration is unique. I just came across the app about a half hour or so ago. You're effectively plugging my desk into the community. Very different perspective on 'to do' lists and workspaces.

ByDesign brings out the best in me :) I'm a lover of SaaS tools that digitally optimize personal life and work. After using ByDesign for about a week, I fell in love with its ability to be my daily organizer. Here's a list of some tools I've either extensively used or tested over the years: Asana, Trello, Microsoft Teams, Notion, Blue, Upbase, Work Zappy, Worklenz, Edworking, and more.

After one week of usage, I am happily migrating from OmniFocus and Notion!! ;-))

I'd tell you about the hunt for a productivity app that combines tasks, calendar, and notes together. I have tested many apps, but nothing like this productivity system so I've tried a LOT of them.

I already like the design and simplicity. I will stay around for couple of days before buying premium to see if I like working in this app.

Congrats to you and your team. There's obviously a lot of thought behind ByDesign, and that takes effort and caring. If you're looking for an easy to navigate task manager, that is simple and yet very versatile and powerful at the same time, then this is a must have. "Simplicity with the power and flexibility to make your own" I actively dislike 'every day' apps that are complicated, hard to work out and as such waste time, money and cause stress (not what productivity apps are supposed to do??). ByDesign is the opposite of that and very inuitive to use and most people will get benefit and be able to work it out really quickly. I "feel like I can breathe" when i use this app, and look foward to opening it up. It's only early days for them, and already I love this app, and I've tried a load recently and over the years! There's obviously a lot of thought gone into ByDesign and a clear remit on what it's supposed to do. It has a 'feeling' of clarity. And there's a lot in the pipeline. I love the fact I can easily see my values, goals for the year, and habits all in 1 place. It also has gamification as a motivator to keep you on track. >The UI looks great > UX is great >Intergrates with Google calendar >IOS app works really well > Support was lighting quick and helpful >Calendar view looks and works great. A final thought: Making something simple yet highly functional and powerful is tough! It was Einstein who famously said "everything should be as simple as possible, but not simpler" and this has that. So if you want simplicity with flexibility and the power to create a dahsboard that suits you and the way you work, then this is superb. It can only get better. "Hat's off to the crew at ByDesign"
